An informative and entertaining Blu-ray player review that just so happens to feature Chord Company Shawline cables. A big thank you to Vincent Teoh from everyone at Chord Co Towers!

Vincent Teoh (HDTVTest) reviews the Pioneer UDP-LX500 4K Blu-ray player which is pitched as a universal disc player that supports SACD & DVD-Audio by the Japanese brand.

HDR formats supported include HDR10, HDR10+ (following firmware update in the future) and Dolby Vision.

It is one of the most expensive 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray players on the market, exceeded only by the flagship Pioneer UDP-LX800.

Throughout this review, he compares the Pioneer LX500 vs the Panasonic DP-UB9000 and occasionally the OPPO UDP-203.

Audio kit used to test sound performance includes:

Bowers & Wilkins 603 floorstanding loudspeakers

Rotel RA-1572 stereo amplifier

Chord Company Shawline cables.
