I had previously paid quite a lot of money for my interconnects, but I was gobsmacked at the difference a couple of The Chord Company’s phono cables made to the sound coming from my Garrard 301. I’ve changed cartridges in the past without them having made such a dramatic difference to the sound quality. It’s quite shocking: my hi-fi and records had all this beauty in them that I just hadn’t been able to hear until now.
