ChordMusic USB came about whilst we were exploring audiophile hard drive devices with RJ45 and USB outputs including (among others) Innuos, Melco, Chord Electronics and Devialet.

As well as our SuperARAY technology ChordMusic USB employs acoustic-damping braid on the twisted +/- signal conductors, a further layer that covers all conductors and an external shield beneath the braided outer jacket.
